What? You thought you were only in for soft, fey treats? Chingang rocks too, dude.

Baustelle are from Montepulciano, the sticks of Tuscany, homeland.
They're surprisingly clever though. I loved "Un Romantico a Milano" mostly for the lyrics, mocking highbrow Milanese clichés with a finesse comparable to, say, Morrissey.
This new outing flies lower but is still irresistible. The much-discussed rhyme "quanta roba si fa/MDMA" is a ten.

Speaking of lyrics, it's hard to beat the subtlety of "I fucked my American cunt." The Teenagers are french—basically—and move in almost comedic territory, but manage to be fashionable, funny, sonically respectable, and on every Kitsuné Maison compilation. Quite a victory.
