Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens

On July 19th, Marco and Clinton are getting married. Perfect timing. I’m gonna be the best man (or bridesmaid, to open a lamentably tired ha-ha chapter.) Our friend (and editrix of Bond Magazine) Lynn is gonna be the one marrying the dudes. The whole thing sounds lovely.
Nicely handled, the way it should always be. Just wonderfully understated and cozy and fun and fuss-free.
Although we should be fussy: they’re getting married. Not married-ha-ha, Missy—married for real, so to get rid of the chance to say “my boyfriend”, “my partner”, “my lover” etc. However “my boo” will stay part of the vocabulary. Also married for real in a way that makes even more sense for relationships between people of different citizenships.
We can debate the value of marriage forever, but that shouldn't take away from sharing the joy of such an intimate and genuine moment. Really, any criticism is out of place. You're just gunna sound jealous, Missy.
So, everything will be effortlessly perfect, except for that wretched, ironically intentional, photoshop job. I think they should have gone all the way and do this instead.

sarebbe carina una versione italiana per gli amici datati che hanno problemi con l'ingrese; visto che è un'avvenimento gioioso mi piacerebbe condividere
