Subscription Expiring Soon

New York Magazine is usually a fantastic read. I've said it before and I still think so, but I think they've lost me as a subscriber since there's a huge flaw that keeps discrediting it. They must fire the entire music staff immediately, or maybe they have to hire one, since whoever writes about music is clearly either an agent provocateur or my mother. Their "Influentials" issue this week is sabotaged by the music section, which is so beyond inane it's a joke. I understand that there's a core audience of Park Avenue ladies they don't wanna alienate, and I certainly don't wanna hear more about the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, but are we supposed to believe that this is New York City's talent pool?
