The Slightly Brighter Side

I saw a smart show in Milan this week. Much better than expected. Thanks Alessio for dragging (literally) my sleepy ass there.
So... is it possible to see contemporary art shows in Italy and hope they turn out to be rewarding experiences? Well... occasionally.
In this case "Beautiful Losers" is a prepackaged show produced by Aaron Rose and simply bought and reinstalled at the Triennale.
Still, it was intriguing. And Thomas Campbell's work, upclose, is surprisingly layered and deeply cheerful.
